Everyone has been enjoying playing outside - especially Tag. She "asks" to take the puppies outside multiple times a day!

All the pups are eating heartily - three times a day. Tag still nurses, but it's less frequent at this point. They're learning to use the litter pan more and more accurately and consistently, too. They love to play and rumble with each other and with Dilly and Tag. 

We've been listening to lots of interesting sounds together - environmental sounds: tree trimming, vacuuming, trains, sirens, dogs, birds and recordings: babies, thunderstorms, fireworks, doorbells. 

The puppies were Embark tested this week. (This is primarily done for the club to add to our database of information about Windsprite genetics.) Results will be back in a few weeks.

First food nibbles today!

 Everyone tried out eating "solids" for the first time today - yummy stuff. They're improving with leaving the sleeping area to pee, too. Tag is such a great mama, but I think she's going to appreciate the help as the humans step in to do feeding and cleaning! We'll try to get good beauty shots later this week. Everyone's coloring is taking on fun new nuances and shades.

Morning snoozes

 With a little help, everyone used the new litter pan this morning (added last night - with evidence of use in the night, too)! After a long nursing session, back to snoozing!

We'll start "solids" (mushy, mushy puppy food) in a day or two. (It seems introducing the litter pellets BEFORE food helps discourage them from eating those!)

 Sorry the lighting makes their eyes look a little wild - but they're definitely playing with one another more frequently when they wake up. :-D

Eyes open! Beginning to walk!

All of the pups now have their eye open and they're beginning to wobble around the whelping box. They even started little growls and biting each other. (Way different from the yelps and squeaks of hunger!)

 Very fun times. Tag is taking good care of everyone, and Dilly can't wait to be more involved in playtime.

 Typical day of snuggles and nursing. Got to experience their first vacuuming today AND have their nails cut again. New day, new experiences, a lot of the same ones.
